Our CCG is made up of all the GP Practices in Redbridge. Our governing body includes experienced GPs, other healthcare professionals, senior NHS managers and a patient representative. We are responsible for working together with our health and social care partners to plan and ‘buy’ healthcare on behalf of the local population. GPs reach decision about funding treatments, medicines and procedures

GPs across Barking and Dagenham, Havering and Redbridge yesterday agreed to stop prescribing over the counter sleeping tablets, sunscreens, anti-malarial medicines and certain “non-essential” procedures, as well as restricting who is eligible for cataract surgery and podiatry.
