Get involved

Our job is to ensure the services we plan and buy locally meet the needs of the people of Redbridge. To do this our decisions are informed by engagement with the local public, our patients and partners. You can get involved in a variety of ways:

We are committed to continuously improving our methods for engaging with local residents. You can read our current engagement strategy, which was co-designed with our patients, carers, members of the public and representatives from community and voluntary groups.

Patient engagement forum

Patient Engagement Forum

Redbridge CCG has a Patient Engagement Forum (PEF) that meets every other month. The PEF provides residents registered with a Redbridge GP an opportunity to influence decisions about local healthcare. Local clinicians and CCG staff attend the meetings to talk to the group about changes to local NHS services or answer questions about healthcare issues of concern to PEF members.

If you would like to find out more about the Redbridge CCG Patient Engagement Forum, please contact Tracey Bedford, Patient and Public Engagement Advisor. Email: tracey.bedford@nhs.net Tel: 020 3182 2908.

Join your Patient Participation Group

Patient Participation Groups help to improve, change and develop patient services at their GP practice. PPGs involve an active group of volunteer patients working in partnership with their own practice staff and GPs. Contact your GP surgery for more information about how to join and take a look at our leaflet about PPGs and what they do.

Governing Body Meetings

Our Governing Body meets in public four or five times a year to make decisions about local health services and how to improve them for the benefit of patients and the public. Patients and members of the public can ask the Governing Body a question about local healthcare and our priorities. Please contact annemarie.keliris@nhs.net with your question seven days before the meeting.
