When you need medical help and advice but it s not a 999 emergency you can now call 111. The new NHS 111 service is now available in Waltham Forest Redbridge Barking & Dagenham and Havering 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
Redbridge residents are wasting no time in taking the opportunity to help local GPs decide which health services are most needed in their areas.
The local NHS is urging Muslims in Redbridge to seek advice about fasting during Ramadan if they suffer from chronic illness are pregnant or taking medication.
Remember that a hospital A&E is for really serious life threatening emergencies not for cuts and sprains.
People living in Redbridge who have had a cough for three weeks or more should go to see their GP. It may be nothing serious but if you are or have been a smoker and are suffering from breathlessness as well it could be an early symptom of lung cancer.
