Join the Citizens’ Panel today and help us shape local health services

23 October 2018

People are at the heart of what we do in the NHS. That is why we are committed to involving you as much as possible in decision-making about local health services.

With an increasing demand for services and tighter budgets, we need to ensure that local people continue to receive the high quality care that they need and rightly expect.

To do this, we have to work together with local people and other health and care organisations, and combine our experiences, expertise and resources to deliver the best care possible.

One of the ways we are doing this is by working with our partners at the East London Health and Care Partnership (ELHCP) to set up an online Citizens’ Panel. The panel is designed to make it easy for you to give feedback on local health and care topics.

Using your phone or computer, at a time that suits you, you’ll be able to tell us your thoughts on our ideas or proposals, or give feedback or suggestions on health and care issues or topics through short surveys.

We expect you’ll only need to give 20 minutes of your time every four to six weeks and we’ll always let you know the results of your involvement and how your feedback will be used.

By taking part, not only are you getting your voice heard, you’re also giving back to the NHS and others in your community as together we improve and shape our health and care services.

You don’t need to use or know about health or care services to be involved, we want to hear from anyone over the age of 16 who lives in Redbridge (or the seven other north east London boroughs).

Visit the ELHCP’s website and fill in the short form to sign-up for this interesting and rewarding opportunity.
